Steven Van Zandt is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, arranger, actor, and radio disc jockey with a net worth of $80 million. He was born Steven Lento in Winthrop, Massachusetts in November 1950. He is generally known as Little Steven or Miami Steve. After his mother remarried he chose the last name of his stepfather William. Growing up in the Jersey Shore, Steven became buddies with Bruce Springsteen. Van Zandt has been partly credited with all the signature guitar line in the hit Springsteen single “Born to Run”. Beginning in 2012 he plays Frank “The Fixer” Tagliano in Lilyhammer. Van Zandt has his own band, Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul, during the 1980s. Alongside the remaining portion of the E Street Band, Van was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Steven is a program director for two stations in the Sirius Satellite Radio network. Steven found his own record label in 2006, titled Wicked Cool Records. Steven is married to wife Maureen who also played his wife on The Sopranos. Van Zandt can be known for being a philanthropist, and was awarded “Huge Guy of the Year'” by Little Kids Rock, a national nonprofit.

In and around 1980’s, Steven tried his luck in forming his own group and called it “Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul”. Van Zandt is from Massachusetts and was initially called Steven Lento — his birth name. He was seven years of age when the family needed to move to New Jersey. He joined Bruce Springsteen’s band in 1975. In the first years, Van was the lead guitarist of the band. Afterwards he became a songwriter and a producer as well. For a very long time he wrote songs for Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes. In 1989 his composed tune “I Am a Patriot” was covered by Jackson Browne.
