Brian McKnight is an American singer, songwriter and record producer who has a net worth of $15 million. Brian McKnight was born on June 5, 1969 in Buffalo, New York. In the early 90s, Brian’s older brother Claude formed a boy band called Take 6 and soon signed a recording contract with Warner Brothers Records. When Brian was 19 he chose to follow in his brother’s footsteps and begin submitting demo tapes to various labels round the country until he signed a deal with Mercury Records. His self-titled debut album was released in June of 1992 and finally went to sell over 1 million copies. His most successful album to date is 1999’s “Back at One” which sold over 3 million copies around the world. In total, Brian has sold more than six million records worldwide. In February of 2014 it was disclosed that Brian McKnight was the victim of a large scale fraud perpetrated by his former accountant Vernon Brown. McKnight is suing Vernon Brown for neglecting to pay his taxes for more than ten years in a row and subsequently wracking up $1.5 million worth of back taxes and fees. As a consequence of these fiscal troubles, Brian claims that his bank has put a lien on his house and the IRS has frozen his music royalty payments. Also Brian’s driver’s license was suspended for failing to pay back taxes.

Most of his earnings come from his music career which has so far been very successful with 12 records under his name. Produced in June 1969, Brian’s great ability was immediately noticed when he started singing in his church choir. Brian was also the lead singer of his school band. Brian went on to sign his first professional recording handle Wing Records at age 19. In 1997, McKnight released an album titled ‘Anytime’ that was created by Mercury Records. The record saw great success, selling more than 2 million copies. He has also established himself as a radio presenter, working for several radio stations. Between 2006 and 2011, McKnight hosted his self-titled show on both Kiss FM and KTWV. He returned to the music scene in 2009 after a three-year break , and it has released three more studio albums. With an effective music career and amazing crowd to himself’s shows, Brian’s art at making money proceeds to inspire lots of his lovers.
